About Melissa..

Melissa is a Dominican American actress born and raised in East New York – Brooklyn, NY.

Her interest in emotion and the human psyche led her to pursue a BA in Psychology, but acting has always been her true passion. She went on to study under acting coach Scott Organ at The Barrow Group (2018), and more recently at TKS Studio where she studied Meisner technique under Terry Knickerbocker (2024).

She has appeared in commercials, music videos, and independent films like “One More Thing (2019)” and “Blacks and UFO’s (2023)”. Most recently, she worked on the second season of web series “Shoutout 2 My Therapist (2024)”.

When she’s not in front of the camera, you can find Melissa crafting the perfect vegan pancake recipe, checking out local comedy clubs, and staying active with strength training and yoga.
